Important Note: Adobe API Key Required
To enable annotation features, you’ll need to create a PDF Embed API project in the Adobe Developer Console (instructions are available in the user guide provided with the customisation). This process is free and will generate the API key necessary for configuring your PDF Annotator.
Installation
The Acumatica PDF Annotator is deployed as a standard customisation package. Here’s how to get started:
- Check Compatibility: Verify your current MYOB Acumatica version by going to the Tools menu. Make sure you download the correct Annotator version for your instance.
- Download the Project: Access the customisation package from the Acumatica Community site (login will be required).
- Import & Publish:
- Download the zipped package.
- In MYOB Acumatica’s Customization Packages screen, import the zip file.
- Enable the package and publish your changes.
- Note: Publishing triggers a system restart, which may cause a brief slowdown.
- Configure the Adobe API Key: Follow the user guide to set up your API key from Adobe’s Developer Console.
- Annotate Your PDFs: Open any document with PDF attachments and start using the side panel to markup or comment as needed.
